Our Mission and Vision:
In the May 1931 issue of his publication, Young India, Mahatma Gandhi wrote, ““If we are to reach real peace in this world…we shall have to begin with children.”
The future of any society begins at home with parents and their children. Countless studies have found that parents have the greatest influence on their children—particularly in their formative years. However, today’s society is full of new, intimidating challenges for parents. Even conscientious parents need support as discussed in Why We Are Needed.
The mission of World Peace Parents Foundation is to provide parents of newborn children with the best available parenting information and principles, through its unique and creative Begin with the Children parenting program, to help them update and enhance their parenting skills to meet the challenges of rearing a productive family in today’s anti-family environment.
Our Vision for the Begin with the Children Project:
We see parents using the best available parenting knowledge and time-tested and proven parenting and child development principles to update and enhance their parenting skills.
- We see a creative parenting plan available to parents starting with the birth of their child that provides them with parent leadership and family relationship principles in an attractive, digestible format.
- We see parents receiving the appropriate educational materials they need in bite-size portions they can easily absorb as their child grows up.
We see these three visions combining to “unleash the power of ordinary parents,” changing them into creative and productive parents. This vision is realized through our Begin with the Children parenting plan. Productive parents seek out the very best. They know that strong, stable families strengthen neighborhoods, communities, and even nations.
As Parents Do, So Does the Family;
As Families Go, So Goes Society™.
